Michael Cohan, Managing Director.
Mr. Cohan is a Managing Director and a member of Cliffwater’s private credit research team. Prior to joining Cliffwater in 2022, Mr. Cohan was Head of Private Debt at Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company where he set strategy and investment process for the private debt portfolio. Prior to Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company, Mr. Cohan held various commercial banking roles at Huntington National Bank. Mr. Cohan earned a BBA in Finance from University of Mississippi and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
