Tyler Hanks

Vice President - Finance


Tyler Hanks serves as Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis at Diversify, where he leads enterprise FP&A, including financial planning, forecasting, performance management, and strategic decision support. In this role, he is responsible for partnering with executive leadership to guide strategic priorities, optimize resource allocation, and ensure financial discipline in support of the company’s long‑term objectives. With more than 20 years of experience in FP&A and Investment Banking, Tyler helps drive value creation and scalable growth by positioning FP&A as a trusted leadership function that shapes strategy, informs key decisions, and aligns financial insight with operational execution.

Prior to joining Diversify, Tyler held leadership roles at Goldman Sachs and Swire Coca‑Cola, where he partnered with senior leaders to strengthen financial reporting, evaluate growth and acquisition opportunities, and improve operational efficiency through rigorous financial analysis. His experience spans controllership, FP&A, and strategic modeling, with expertise in financial reporting, M&A and growth modeling, and using financial statements to drive business efficiency and performance improvement.

Tyler holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance, with a minor in Japanese, from the University of Utah, and earned his MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management, an internationally recognized business school. He remains actively engaged in the finance and FP&A profession, drawing on his global business education and leadership experience to advance strategic finance practices and develop high‑impact financial organizations.

Outside of work, Tyler enjoys staying active through team sports, boating, and golf. He lives in Sandy, Utah with his wife and four children and is deeply involved in his local community through youth sports. Tyler is passionate about coaching and mentoring young athletes and has coached lacrosse, football, and basketball, emphasizing teamwork, discipline, and leadership both on and off the field.
