Cassie Whitlock serves as Chief People Officer at Diversify, where she leads the people systems and organizational capabilities that fuel high performance across the firm. She is responsible for aligning culture, talent strategy, and leadership development with Diversify’s growth objectives—ensuring the organization is equipped to deliver remarkable client experiences while continuing to attract and retain top advisor and staff talent. With more than 20 years of experience enabling high‑performing, people‑centric environments, Cassie helps ensure Diversify’s culture and operational foundation scale effectively to support long‑term business success.

Prior to joining Diversify, Cassie built a career transforming organizations by designing people systems that strengthen alignment, elevate performance, and enable scalable growth. She spent more than a decade at BambooHR, serving as Head of HR during a period of rapid expansion where she developed the leadership capabilities, cultural clarity, and operational frameworks that propelled the company’s evolution. Cassie established a standout employer brand that fueled recruiting and retention, and introduced performance and leadership systems that improved accountability, role clarity, and team effectiveness. Her expertise spans talent strategy, organizational design, and enterprise‑level culture development—always grounded in the belief that people, when supported by clear expectations and strong leadership, are the primary drivers of business value. She is also a sought‑after speaker and contributor, partnering with organizations such as SHRM, UACPA, DWS, and Utah State University’s Rural Online Initiative, and has been recognized among HRD’s Global 100 – HR 2022 for her industry impact.

Cassie holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources from Utah State University’s nationally ranked Executive Master of Human Resources program and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Accounting from Utah Valley University. She teaches Innovative Leadership in Utah State University’s MBA program and serves as an Adjunct Professor within the university’s Executive Master of Human Resources program. Cassie remains actively engaged in industry associations and professional development communities, contributing to initiatives that advance leadership capability and organizational excellence.

Outside of work, Cassie finds joy in cultivating beauty through gardening and landscape design, creating environments that inspire rest, connection, and renewal. She cherishes time with her six grandchildren—her “littles”—and is deeply committed to nurturing their growth through a steady, intentional presence. Cassie enjoys outdoor recreation and time in nature, as well as singing in a community choir where she combines her love of music with service through performance. Her personal life reflects the same values she brings to leadership: a belief that people matter most, that growth is nurtured through clarity and care, and that strong communities are built through consistent acts of support and contribution.
