Stephanie Birenbaum

Stephanie Birenbaum serves as Director of Supervision at Diversify, providing leadership and strategic oversight of the firm’s supervisory program. In this role, she oversees advisors, drives operational consistency, and ensures understanding of—and compliance with—firm and regulatory requirements. With more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, Stephanie plays an integral role in strengthening the firm’s risk management program while supporting high‑integrity, advisor‑led practices.

Prior to joining Diversify, Stephanie held compliance and supervisory roles at Osaic, Woodbury Financial, and Securian Financial. She brings extensive practical experience across supervision and compliance and is known for her strong communication, process development, and problem-resolution skills. Throughout her career, Stephanie has focused on enhancing supervisory systems, advancing operational procedures, and fostering collaborative relationships between compliance and advisors.

Stephanie holds the FINRA Series 4, 6, 7, 24, and 66 securities registrations and is a member of the National Society of Compliance Professionals (NSCP).She earned her Associate of Arts degree from Anoka Ramsey Community College and looks forward to increasing her involvement in professional industry groups to continue building her knowledge and professional impact.

Outside of work, Stephanie can usually be found chauffeuring, volunteering, or cheering from the sidelines of one of the many activities her kids are involved in. Her favorite place to be is her family’s remote lake cabin near the Canadian border. She also enjoys traveling, being outdoors, reading, theatre, and live music.
