Community Education

Diversify is committed to providing quality education to its clients, and to the community as a whole. Diversify recently hosted “A Night With Mitt Romney: Learning to Navigate Today’s Economy”. The event was presented to a sold-out crowd at downtown Salt Lake City’s historic Abravanel Hall. The event featured presentations from the co-founders of Diversify, Ryan Smith and Dan Luke; the Governor of Utah, Gary Herbert; and the former Governor of Massachusetts and 2012 Republican nominee for president, Mitt Romney.

The central message of this event is how individual investment and financial decisions made within the four-walls of your own homes impact the local, national, and global economies. We all play a role in the overall health of the economy, and Diversify is dedicated to helping individuals and families succeed in that role.

Alternative Investment Expertise

Through our broker-dealer, DFPG Investments, LLC, clients of Diversify have access to a unique platform of alternative investments such as real estate and private equity. Alternative investments have historically only been available to institutional level investors such as endowments and pension plans. Most financial advisors lack the knowledge and expertise necessary to offer a proper platform of alternative investment solutions. However, we believe that for certain investors, alternative investments can play an important role in helping investors achieve adequate diversification beyond the traditional stock and bond portfolio. Alternative investments may present significant risks, and may not be suitable for all investors. Although no level of due diligence and expertise can completely mitigate those risks, a knowledgeable and experienced financial professional and due-diligence team can create value for their investors with a carefully selected suite of alternative investment solutions.

Diversify Radio

For nearly 4 years, Diversify Radio reached thousands of listeners each Saturday on iHeartMedia’s 105.9 FM KNRS. The show featured financial professionals from Diversify and explored a broad-range of financial and investment topics. Diversify Radio was recognized for being a comprehensive resource for its listeners, coupled with a direct, no-nonsense approach.

Over the course of the show, Diversify Radio hosted many notable guests, interviewed victims of fraud, featured important warnings and advice for investors, and offered downloadable resources for its loyal listening audience. “We created Diversify Radio,” recalls Dan Luke, Diversify’s CEO, “with the hope that we could provide listeners with important, balanced, and non-salesy information. Our mission was to provide education and offer resources for those seeking help.”

The Diversify Financial Center

In November 2016, Diversify completed the construction on a new state-of-the-art office building in Sandy, Utah. The Diversify Financial Center was constructed with the vision of creating a one-stop financial center in which Diversify clients could efficiently address all their financial needs in one location. The Diversify Financial Center features professionals in the areas of finance, investments, tax, insurance, lending, legal, estate planning and real estate. A proper financial plan includes the effective assemblage of qualified professionals in all areas of financial services and asset protection. The Diversify Financial Center brings that entire team to you in one convenient location.

Giving Back

In 2013, Diversify became a proud sponsor of the Especially for Athletes (“E4A”) program. E4A is a movement specifically designed to inspire athletes to use their “Sport Light” to make a more positive impact in their communities and schools. The E4A program has positively impacted thousands of youth. Dozens of high schools and junior high schools across the state of Utah have implemented the E4A program. Diversify co-founder and CEO Dan Luke is an E4A board member and the entire team at Diversify is dedicated to helping this program put an end to the epidemic of bullying, suicide, loneliness, substance abuse and the many other challenges that are so prevalent amongst today’s youth.
