Our Philosophy
Diversified Financial Planning, Inc., and the DFP group of companies, were founded in 2004 by Daniel J. Luke and Ryan O. Smith. DFP, and its affiliated companies, provide investment, insurance and mortgage services to clients throughout the western United States. We are a truly independent firm and our analysts and advisors do their homework in reviewing a very diverse base of investment offerings. We recognize the responsibility of managing the hard earned assets of our clients, and we take it very seriously. Our independent model, coupled with our advisors' expertise in many different investment arenas, allows our clients access to financial advice that is unbiased, diversified and responsive to their particular needs and concerns. We construct financial plans based on the stated objectives of each client. All investments carry varying degrees of benefit and risk, and we do our best to make sure that this is understood. Investments must be tactically diversified- in almost every sense of the word. We seek to protect our clients' assets, increase their portfolio value, and anticipate their future income needs. We encourage our clients to control their debt and maintain sufficient reserves as they prepare for various market cycles. Our broad base of investment offerings, coupled with our proprietary due diligence models, assists us as we work to help our clients.
